Are you struggling with enjoying your time as a SAHM (Stay-At-Home Mom)? Do you feel misunderstood when you express that you're tired? Are you questioning who you are beyond being a mom?

Hey sis, I'm Dorcas — a married, longtime stay-at-home mom who understands the work, the pressure, the loneliness of being a full-time mom.

Many days, I prayed through exhaustion and overstimulation, and silently fell apart while telling everyone I was okay.

I finally realized that the only way to find freedom was to return to the peace and confidence that came from drawing closer to Jesus.

I discovered how to live with ease and enjoy motherhood, which genuinely aligned with my life.

If you're a mom who wants her daily life aligned with Jesus leaving the loneliness, the pressure, and the overwhelm behind…

Build a simple rhythm that nurtures your relationship with Christ and get clear, practical guidance that truly transforms you from the inside out...

Well, sister, this podcast is for you!

Welcome Sis

This podcast is for Christian stay-at-home moms who feel isolated, drained, and undervalued, to find validation, kingdom encouragement, and reassurance so they can rediscover their identity, be connected to a meaningful community that builds confidence and peace, and receive reassurance.

I’ve been the SAHM(stay at home mom), making emotional decisions out of exhaustion, questioning my worth, and trying to keep everything running while feeling unseen and isolated. I learned the hard way that willpower wasn’t the problem—my systems were missing. Through missteps, lots of prayer, and practical learning, I discovered that peace doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from having simple, realistic systems that supported my tired mind and real-life situations. That shift changed not just my confidence but also my clarity and how I showed up for my family.

Why do I feel so alone even though I’m always with my kids?
Is it normal to feel overwhelmed by the mental load every day?
Why do I feel like I’ve lost myself in motherhood?
Are these struggles just part of being a stay-at-home mom?
What if the hardest parts I’m experiencing aren’t actually “normal”?
In this episode, we’re uncovering three common experiences many stay-at-home moms quietly carry—feeling alone, overwhelmed by the mental load, and disconnected from themselves—and why these aren’t things you were meant to simply accept as part of motherhood. If you’ve ever wondered why certain parts of this season feel heavier than expected, this conversation will bring clarity, validation, and relief. We walk through why these feelings happen and what they’re actually signaling, along with simple, practical ways to begin creating connection, reducing overwhelm, and reconnecting with yourself. This episode is your reminder that just because something is common doesn’t mean it’s normal—and you don’t have to keep carrying it alone.

Hey Sis,
Have you asked yourself:
Why do I feel invisible even though I’m doing so much?
Why does it feel like no one notices what I do all day?
Is it wrong to want to feel seen and appreciated?
Why do I feel lonely in a house full of people?
What do I do when I feel unseen and undervalued?
In this episode, we’re talking about the quiet but heavy feeling of being invisible—the kind that comes after a full day of giving, doing, and showing up, yet still feeling unseen. If you’ve ever wondered why this feeling lingers or questioned your worth because no one seems to notice, this conversation will meet you right where you are. We unpack why doing more doesn’t fix the feeling, what you’re actually needing underneath it all, and how to begin feeling seen again in a way that doesn’t depend on others noticing first. This episode will remind you that your role matters, your presence is valuable, and you are not alone in this.
